Have A Go Day
Tauranga Archers provides a "Have A Go Day" to the public at least once a month. It runs for 2 hours and is for all ages 11yrs +. Payment is to be made online, prior to course, to reserve your place. On this day you will learn the basics of Archery, like technique & form. You will learn the various parts of the bow and how the bow works.
All the equipment is supplied for you, including recurve bows, arrows and safety equipment. Spaces are limited on each day so booking is essential.

Rules
Wear clothes for the season, but not too baggy as clothing could get caught in the string. Tie back long hair & wear closed in shoes. eg. sneakers or Gumboots, as sometimes the ground at the range gets a bit soggy in the winter. NO sandals or jandals. Bring water and sunblock. If for any reason the class is cancelled we will let you know one hour before the session is due to start. Parents should stay with children under 14. Spectators might like to bring a chair and an umbrella as it can get pretty hot.
Location
The club is located at Graham Park. Access is by footpath from Edgecumbe Rd or off the slip road to 11th Ave from Takitimu Drive where there is parking by the sub station.
