Curious about archery? Our Have a Go sessions are a fun, safe, and fully coached introduction to archery — perfect for beginners with no prior experience.
These sessions run once a month, last approximately 2 hours, and are suitable for people aged 11 years and over.

All equipment is supplied, including:
Recurve bows
Arrows
Safety equipment
You don’t need to bring anything except yourself, closed toed footware and suitable clothing.
Suitable for ages 11 and up
No experience required
Parents or caregivers must remain onsite for participants under 14 years old
Spectators are welcome.
$30.00 per person
Wear clothing that is not too baggy as clothing could get caught in the string. Tie back long hair & wear closed in shoes. eg. sneakers or Gumboots, as sometimes the ground at the range gets a bit soggy in the winter. NO sandals or jandals. Bring water and sunblock. If for any reason the class is cancelled we will let you know one hour before the session is due to start. Parents should stay with children under 14. Spectators might like to bring a chair and an umbrella as it can get pretty hot.
Have a Go Days are held at our outdoor range at Graham Park, Tauranga.
