BEGINNERS COURSE

The Course

The Beginners Course is required for all new Archers and is available for members of our club.

The course focuses on shooting with a sighted bow, using equipment similar to what you could purchase should you wish to do so.

Consisting of 2 hour sessions on three consective Saturdays, the course will ensure you are upto a standard to safety shoot with others without the direct supervision of a coach. It concludes with a Qualifying Shoot that must be passed. 

Most of the equipment is supplied for you, including recurve bows, and arrows. Participants are required to purchase a Finger Tab (with shelf) and Arm Guard which will be available in the new year. More information to come shortly.

Spaces are limited on each course so booking is essential.

Cost

The course costs $30 each for all three days and is normally restricted to 9 people per course.

To take part in a 'Beginners Course', you need to first become a full member of the club.
